Warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, antennas, AC cords, cabinets, head band, ear-pads, or damage due to line power surges, connection to improper voltage supply or settings, misuse, mishandling, improper application, accident, acts of God, or attempted repair by an unauthorized service agent.

In order to have your merchandise repaired or replaced by warranty, you must send the unit PREPAID to NAXA ELECTRONICS 2914 LEONIS BLVD. VERNON, CA 90058 In the original packaging or reasonable substitute to prevent damage and include: (1) PROOF OF PURCHASE, which must have a purchase date that falls in the warranty period specified in the Warranty card. (2) ALL ACCESSORIES that came with the product package must be sent along with the main unit. (3) A CASHIER?S CHECK OR MONEY ORDER payable to Naxa Electronics Inc, depending on the unit for return shipping and handling. You must include your full name, shipping address and telephone number for our reference. No returned merchandise will be shipped back to a PO BOX. If returned merchandise is found to have no problem and/or does not include requirements (1), (2) and (3), it will be returned back to the customer.

Naxa Electronics Inc, warrants their products to the original purchaser ONLY, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, for ninety (90) Days from the date of original purchase. Naxa agrees, at its option under the warranty period, to repair or replace the product if it is determined to be defective at ?No Charge?.

If the unit was tampered with or the packaging was opened when you purchased it, please return it to the place you have purchased it from. All new Naxa items, will be originally packaged, and will never be opened prior to the consumer purchasing it.

Music can be added to your MP3 player in two ways. You can manually add music to your MP3 player or you can use Windows Media Player in order to add music to your MP3 player. Please find instructions below on how to add music to your unit manually a) Connect the unit to the computer via the USB Cable b) Once the unit has been connected, the computer should recognize the unit and assign it a particular drive in your MY COMPUTER file. c) Please find and open the designated drive the unit is plugged into d) The folder will hold all the information for the unit. e) You can create a folder of Music and drag it into this folder, or you can drag each song into this folder. f) Once music has been put into this folder, the unit should be able to recognize and play the files. For adding music via Windows Media Player please follow these directions: a) Connect the unit to the computer b) Then open Windows Media Player, and follow the instructions to associate (sync) the unit to the computer. Please make sure you have the most up to date version. c) On the top of windows media player, there is a tab for ?SYNC? d) When you click that tab, it will open a library of music and show you a sidebar with the unit that has been connected. e) The sidebar for the unit will show you the songs on the player and the amount of space available. f) Simply drag and drop songs from the library to the side bar g) When you have completed adding the songs to the side bar, then you can go ahead and press the ?Start Sync? button h) Start sync will be found at the bottom of the side bar.

Some customers have a list of music from various artists, and want to just have one list playing rather then each artist separately. In order for the unit to read the music as one list, please have the customer follow the following directions: ? Put all the music you would like to play in one folder with out any subfolders (by this we mean just the song itself). ? Once your folders are complete, drag and drop the folder onto the unit. ? Once you open that folder to play it on the player, it should automatically play from that folder, in the order you have placed the songs in the file.

Unfortunately Apple does not allow any other unit to work with iTunes but the iPod (Apple products). You can use windows media player to do the same thing, however using the SYNC function. You can also always add the songs onto the unit manually. Please refer to the below instructions for adding music as indicated above: Add music manually: ? Please note that all Naxa MP3 and MP4 players support Windows 7, Windows XP and Windows Vista platforms. They will normally work with previous platforms as well, however in all cases you may need to install a driver (that will come with your unit) prior to using the MP3 or MP4 player. Please make sure to properly read all instruction in the manual before using the MP3 or MP4 player.

Please do not be alarmed there is nothing wrong with the MP3/MP4 player you purchased. When purchasing music online, many of the songs may require DRM compatibility. In DRM mode your unit is restricted to only work through Windows Media Player, and will only allow you to load music in folders. These folders must be no larger than 127 files. In order to switch out of DRM mode so that you are not restricted you will need to change the mode. This device has two different modes. One mode is the USB Disk mode, which is normally used to transfer data to your device that does not require DRM compatibility. In this mode, when the unit is connected to the computer, the unit will show up in ?My Computer? as a designated drive and not as a separate ?Other Device?. In this mode, you can play all non-DRM music and/or video. This unit also has a Media Disk mode. The Media Disk mode allows DRM compatible music to play on your unit. When connected to a computer, the device will not show up on ?My Computer? as a drive. Normally, this device will show up in ?Other Devices.? To change the mode of your unit from the DRM mode to the USB mode you will need to: On the main menu screen, select the ?System? tab on the MP4 Menu. Then scroll and choose ?Online Device.? Once you have opened this icon, there will be two options: Media Device or USB Disk. In order to allow all music to play on the unit and not restrict the files make sure it is in USB Mode. Use the next/prev buttons to scroll down the list and highlight the version you would like (USB Device). Then you can press and hold menu to select and exit the screen.

When purchasing music online, many of the songs may require DRM compatibility. In order to play music that requires DRM compatibility on your unit, you must first make sure the unit is switched onto "Media Disc" mode. You will also need to make sure your computer has the most updated version of Windows Media Player installed. Please note. Once you have changed your unit to "Media Device" mode, all music and/or video must be transferred onto and off of the unit using Windows Media Player.

Please first check to make sure the unit is fully charged. The unit will need to be charged for 5-7 hours for a full charge. If your unit uses batteries please make sure you are using new batteries. The unit can be charged by wall adaptor and in the case there is no wall adaptor, the unit will usually in this case use a USB cable to charge. The USB cable must be connected to a computer for power and charging.

Check whether volume is set to 0. Check whether earphone has been plugged in the earphone slot.

Check whether earphone plug is clean. Dirty plug may lead to noise. Check whether the file is damage. Try other file. Damaged file may lead to serious noise and voice jump.

Adjust the direction and place of the player, pull the earphone cable longer. Check whether there is electronic equipment nearby. Electronic equipment may lead to signal electronic equipment.

Check whether the player is locked

Check whether the connection between PC and the player is correct. Check whether the memory space is full. Check whether USB cable is damaged.

DO NOT FORMAT your player with Windows. Something about the NTFS file format will mess up your player.

DO NOT REMOVE your player from the computer if it is in the middle of doing something. This can mess up your player and your computer.

This question is difficult to answer, because there are different compression rates available for MP3 audio data, and a song could be long or short! However a guideline is that you can compress a normal audio CD into around 65MB of MP3 data, so you can fit 14 or 15 CDs worth of music on a 1GB MP3 / MP4 Player.

These players recognize MP1, MP2, MP3, WMA and video in AMV format

The MP3/MP4 player is the same as a USB Memory Stick, it gets detected the same way as a USB Memory Stick does. Here are some very simple instructions. 1. Plug your MP3/MP4 player into the USB port of your computer. 2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into your player. 3. If you player has an [on/off] switch, set it to the [ON] position. 4. Wait for a few seconds and Windows should detect your MP3/MP4 player5. Now open up Windows Explorer. 6. You will now see a drive labeled "Removable Disk" like the below screenshot. Note: The drive letter maybe different on your computer because it depends on how many drives you currently have. 7. Double click on your "Removable Disk" and it will show the files currently on your player. Copy the files from your computer into this drive, the same way you would copy a file onto a disk or to another location.
